

Telephony museum
In the museum -opened in 1991- a Rotary 7A1 telephone switch used between 1928-1985 for servicing 3 400 subscribers is exhibited in operating condition.In the rooms next to the switch the 120 years of Hungarian telephony and the first decade of the Hungarian Telecommunications Co. Ltd. (Matáv) are shown in an exhibition.

Opening hours:
We kindly inform our visitors that on 11-12 of May the Telephony Museum will be closed. You can find us at the May Festival of Museums, in the Garden of Hungarian National Museum.
